Hello Abhinav, theoretically speaking a student who is in the final year of B.Tech can initiate the process for applying to do MS abroad. This will juxtapose with his passing out of B.Tech and beginning of the course of MS in universities abroad. Hello Dhanya, in one sense MS or M.Sc. Are similar in that both are postgraduate courses. But then there are differences as well. M.Sc. Is a degree which is granted for postgraduate studies in a Science subject and eligibility would be normally B.Sc. In that subject. On the other hand M.Tech or ME are the two degrees which an engineering graduate seeks out after completion of his graduation since for both of these post graduate degrees graduation in engineering is an eligibility. However majority of the institutions abroad have programs cal MS which is an umbrella programme for post graduation which any graduate student can apply for.
