The minimum eligibility criteria to pursue MSc at DDE Kurukshetra University is to posses Bachelor's degree programme from a recognised institute/university. Candidate should hold the original degree during admission process. It is required for verification purposes. Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirement shall be considered for admission.

Directorate of Distance Education offers three major specialisations under the MSc course. Mathematics, Geography, and, Computer Science are specialisaitons offered. The MSc course is offered in a the distance-learning mode lasting for two years. Admission to the MSc course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% from a recognised university/institute.

Yes, there are scholarship offered for the MSc course at DDE. The scholarships are mostly offered under the Government schemes. Students must qualify the eligibility criteria and submit all the necessary documents required for the scholarship. Few of the scholarships are as follows:

The last date to apply for the Directorate of Distance Education MSc course admission for January session 2025 without late fees was April 30, 2025. With a late fee of INR 500, deadline was May 30, 2025, and with a the last date with late fee of INR 1000 was June 30, 2025.
