Common exams to pursue MS in USA are GRE or GMAT. Furthermore, international students are required to appear for English language proficiency tests as well such as IELTS / TOEFL / PTE, etc. A few programs have additional requirements as well. However, the general requirement with these tests is also having a Bachelor's degree. A few universities may also require work experience. Out of 650+ MS in USA Universities listed on this page, 400+ accept GRE.

Yes, Thiruvalluvar University does offers MSc in Biotechnology. The MSc course is offered in a full-time mode lasting for two years.
