M.Tech Eligibility

Candidates must have passed BE/ BTech from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

To be eligible for M.Tech at VNR VJIET the candidate must have a graduation degree with a minimum 50% aggregate for general category and 45% for reserved category candidates. Admission to VNR M.Tech is done on the basis of rank secured by the candidate in GATE or TSPGECET. 

For admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram M.Tech course, candidates must have passed BE/BTech in the relevant subject with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate. Apart from this,   candidates are also required to appear for the GATE entrance test. 

Candidates with a valid BE/BTech (all branches) degree or PG Degree in Science/Mathematics/IT/Computers/MCA from a recognised university can apply for admission. It is further also necessary that the candidate passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 65% aggregate for admission to CSE, ECE, and CB MTech courses. Additionally, for MTech (Research) in CSE, aspirants shall have secured at least 75% aggregate (5% relaxation to reserved categories).

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kurnool offers a two-year MTech programme, which is spread across four semesters. For admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool MTech course, candidates must have passed BE/BTech in the relevant subject with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate. Apart from this,   candidates are also required to appear for the GATE entrance test. 

The candidates with a valid BTech degree in ECE/CS/IT/EE or related disciplines, MCA, or an MSc/MS in ECE/CS/IT/EE or related disciplines with at least 60% aggregate are eligible to take admission. The eligibility criteria for the MTech programme at IIIT Bhagalpur requires candidates to have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline, a BTech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST candidates), and a final degree certificate before the prescribed deadline for those in their final year. Also, non-GATE candidate can apply via the institution's official website and appear for the IIIT Bhagalpur's written test and personal interview.
