To be eligible for M.Tech at ICT Mumbai, candidates must have passed a relevant UG degree with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class candidates). Candidates need to be graduated with minimum 60% aggregate with BE/BTech from a recognised University to apply for MTech at NIT Silchar. The university from which the candidate obtained their UG degree must be recognised by the government or an appropriate regulatory body.

GNITS offers a PG leve M.Tech course for a duation of two years. To apply for this course, candidates have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates seeking for admission to MBA at GNITS must hold a UG degree from a recognised university. Without passing the basic educational requirements, the application will be rejected.

Students should have passed BTech with at least 60% marks and have valid score/ rank in the GATE exam to be eligible for admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur for MTech course.

For NIT Durgapur M.Tech admission, candidates must apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE is an online national-level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other institutes/universities across India. The exam is scheduled between February 4 and 12.
