M.Tech Eligibility

Swami Vivekananda University is a private university located in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India.The university was established as Sri Vivekanand Niji University (SVN University) in 2012 and is approved by the University Grants Commission. It is managaed by Prakhar Pragya Shiksha Prasar Avam Samaj Kalayn Samiti.

Swami Vivekananda University offers 42 programs at the undergraduate level and 45 programs at the postgraduate level in various fields such as Engineering, Law, Education, Pharmacy, Commerce, Arts, Design, Management and Science.

• Candidates have to apply online through the official website of the University.
• Those applying for undergraduate level, Diploma and advanced Diploma courses should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. 
• To apply for the postgraduate level degree and Diploma courses, candidates must be a graduate degree.
• Selection to all the programme is done on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the University.
• Admission to MBA is done on the basis of CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CET. 
• Similarly, selection for M.Tech is on the basis of GATE. 
• For admission to MBA courses and Law courses, group discussions and personal interview are also conducted

  Swami Vivekanand University offers B.A. in 6 specializations, B.Tech in 11 specializations, B.Sc. in 12 specializations, B.Com, B.C.A, BBA, B.A. LL.B., BPA, BFA, B.Pharm., B.J.M.C., B.M.L.T., LL.B., B.Lib.I.Sc., B.Ed., and B.P.Ed. degree courses at the undergraduate level. 

  Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for these programs. For B.Tech, B.Sc., B.M.L.T., and B.Pharm. program, they must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology or Agriculture as subjects from a recognised board to be eligible to apply. 

  For LL.B., B.P.Ed. and B.Ed course, they should have a Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate branch or equivalent with not less than 50% marks. Selection is done on the basis of marks scored in CET conducted by the university for different courses. Admission to B.Ed. and B.P.Ed. will be done on the basis of TET score conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Government.

The eligibility criteria of IIIT Bhubaneswar for M.Tech is as mentioned below:

For GATE:

• Graduate Degree in BE/BTech, BPharma, BArch, BSc (Research)/BS, Professional Society Examination (equivalent to BE/BTech/BArch), MSc/MA/MCA or equivalent, Integrated ME/MTech, Integrated MSc/Integrated BS-MS, Integrated ME/MTech or Dual Degree (after Diploma or 10+2)

For Non-GATE:

• Graduate degree in BTech/B.E. from any recognised University with specialisation  in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology/ Computer Engineering or any Equivalence specialisation.

or

• MCA from a recognised University.

or

• MSc in Computer Science or Information Technology from a Recognized University.
