It is not compulsory for you to give an entrance exam for admission to part time M.Tech courses. There are a lot of colleges that give admission on the basis of marks secured in graduation. But, it is better if you give the exam as it may increase your chances of getting a top-ranked college for pursuing Part Time M.Tech for Working Professionals.

If you want to pursue part time M.Tech courses, you must have completed your BTech in a relevant Engineering discipline and got at least 55 to 60% marks. A lot of colleges give admission on the basis of marks obtained in graduation, while others may need valid entrance exam scores like that of GATE or university-specific exams.

Further, some colleges may also need at least 2 years of work experience and an NOC from the employer for you to pursue the Part time M.Tech for Working Professionals.
