As per the exam pattern mentioned in the official notification below is the pattern - 

  • Exam Mode: Online (CBT)

  • Duration: 90 minutes

  • Number of Questions: 100 MCQs

  • Sections:

    • Mental Ability (40 questions)

    • General Knowledge (30 questions)

    • Teacher Aptitude (30 questions)

    • Medium: English and Marathi

 The marking scheme for MAH B.Ed CET is based as follows:

  • Each question will be of 1 mark each.

  • There will be no negative marking in the exam encouraging candidates to attempt all the questions, even if unsure about the answers, thereby maximizing their score potential.

  • Questions left unanswered will not affect the overall score of candidates.

No, there is no negative marking in the MAH B.Ed CET exam. Giving candidates complete freedom to attempt as many questions as they can without the fear of losing marks for incorrect answers, which is advantageous in maximizing their scores.

Yes, there is reservation in the MAH B.Ed CET. As per the reservation policy prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and physically disabled candidates, ex-servicemen, and economically weaker sections get quota in admission. However to make use of the reservation policy, candidates will have to submit a valid category certificates during the application and admission process to avail of these benefits.

The MAH BEd CET scores are only valid for the current admission cycle. Candidates must apply for admission to participating colleges within the same year, as the score does not carry over to future sessions. Hence, in the next session, the scores will be invalid.

Yes, there is no minimum attempts as far as candidates meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the exam. Students who fail once can reappear for the MAH B.Ed CET in next sessions if they do not succeed in their first attempt.

No there is no such provision for candidates belonging to foreign soil to apply for the MAH BEd CET exam. However students who belong to different state apart from Maharashtra can apply for the exam provided they submit the relevant domicile document for the same.

Yes, while filling the online application form of the MAH BEd CET candidates can select their preferred exam center from the provided list. However, the final exam centre allocation will depend upon the availability. It is advisable to candidates to apply early to increase the chances of getting the desired center.

As per the exam notification, the MAH B.Ed CET exam will be conducted in multiple languages, including English and Marathi. While filling the online application form they will have to select their preferred language. However, those opting for the English medium will also take the additional English Language Content Test.
