The MAH BEd CET Exam is a state-level entrance examination which is conducted by the Maharashtra CET Cell. This BEd entrance exam is conducted to offer admission to candidates into BEd Courses across Maharashtra. The MAH BEd CET exam is of one-hour duration and is conducted in online computer based mode. Candidates get shortlisted via the MAH BEd CET 2025 for BEd courses in Maharashtra via the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The MAH BEd CET Counselling process is conducted online through the official website. Candidates can log in using their registration number to fill out their choice of colleges and pay the counseling fee online. The MAH BEd CET 2025 counseling will be conducted in four phases until 1 October. 

MAH BEd CET 2025 Counseling: How to Apply?

Step 1 - The qualified andidates in the MAH BEd CET 2025 will have to first submit their registration number and roll number to register for the counseling process.

Step 2 - In the next step they will have to confirm their result and input necessary data, such as their complete name, birth date, gender, email address, and phone number, to complete the registration process.

Step 3 - Candidates will then have to use their login information to access their CAP candidate site after enrolling. Once they have logged in, they will see the dashboard and complete the detailed MAH BEd CET 2025 counseling registration on the dashboard.

Step 4 - After filling in this information they must ensure that they enter all the details carefully like personal information and academic accomplishments.

Step 5 - While uploading the documents, candidates must upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format. Select the colleges and courses based on their interests and match the prerequisites Once all the information is updated, candidates will have to pay the counseling fee in online mode.

MAH BEd CET 2025 Counseling: Documents Required

The following documents are required during the counseling process of MAH BEd CET.

• MAH BEd CET application form
• MAH BEd CET admit card
• Scanned Photo ID - PAN Card, Aadhar card, Voter ID, Driver’s license, etc.
• Recent photograph and signature as per the given format.
• Class 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate.

MAH BEd CET 2025 Eligibility Guidelines for Candidates of Maharashtra State

Candidates should be an Indian citizen and should have a Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree with subjects Mathematics/ Sciences/ Social Sciences (Political Sciences/ History/ Economics/ Geography/ Philosophy/ Psychology/ Education/ Library Science)/ Humanity Sciences (including all Languages and Literature – Marathi, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Pali-Prakrit, etc. studied as Optional/ Special Subject at Graduation)/ Commerce.

• Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Mathematics/Humanities Sciences/Commerce subjects. 
• Candidates should have passed their bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned subjects with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category, and 45% marks for backward classes including SC/ST/OBC/SBC. 
• Candidates who are appearing for the final year examination of any bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply for the exam.  

Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates applying for the MAH BEd CET 2025 exam. 

MAH BEd CET Eligibility Guidelines for Candidates from other States

Candidates should be an Indian citizen. All backward class candidates with Graduate/ Post Graduate Degrees from universities out of Maharashtra will be considered Open Category Candidates. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree program with a minimum of 55% of marks for all categories. Those appearing for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply as well however, they will have to submit their qualification certificate during the document verification.

MAH BEd CET Eligibility Guidelines for NRI Candidates

Candidates belonging to categories like Non-Resident Indian, Person of Indian Origin, Overseas Citizen of India and Foreign National Students, and Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries must have scored minimum marks with 55% aggregate.

Candidates’ Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to applying for the MAH BEd CET 2025 Exam.

The MAH BEd CET syllabus 2025 is prescribed by the exam conducting body. The BEd CET question paper will be based on the syllabus of MAH BEd CET. As per the official notification, the syllabus is divided into three sections: Mental Ability, General Knowledge, and Teaching Aptitude. Aspirants who are appearing for the MAH BEd CET 2025 exam are required to study all the important topics from these three subjects to qualify for the exam. 

In the Mental Ability section, the questions will be based on Analogies, Classification, Series Syllogism, Relationship, Coding-Decoding, Problems on Dice, Verbal or Non-Verbal, etc.

In the General Knowledge section, the questions will be based on events at Local, National, International Level, Current Affairs, Science and technology, History, Geography, Civics, Political Science and Literature. 

In Teaching Aptitude section, the questions will be based on leadership qualities awareness, changes in Education system and Society, Communication and Professional Commitment etc.

The MAH BEd CET 2025 application releases in December every year. Candidates aspiring to appear for the MAH BEd CET entrance exam need to follow the steps mentioned below: 

Step 1: Registration 

To fill in the MAH BEd CET application form, candidates are required to register themselves first. Visit the official website of MAH BEd CET 2025 – cetcell.mahacet.org.

1. Click on “New Registration” and read all instructions. Fill in all the required credentials.

• Email ID 

2. Create your password and security questions.

3. Click on the submit button and confirm the details.

4. Candidates must upload the scanned copies of the required documents in their prescribed format

5. The candidate has to select the “Centre of Examination” for the MAH BEd CET 2025 Entrance Exam.

6. After the completion of the MAH BEd CET 2025 Online Application form, candidates will have to submit the fees online.

7. Save a copy of the MAH BEd CET 2025 filled-in Application form and fee receipt.

A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and displayed on the screen. Now, candidates can fill in the Provisional Registration Number and Password to log in and apply for the MAH BEd CET exam.

Step 2: Fill out the MAH BEd CET Application Form 

Candidates can fill out the application form and validate their filled-in details before submitting it. Fill in the applicant's name, his/her father/husband, etc. Fill in all the personal and academic details in the application form. You'll need to upload the scanned image and signature according to the guidelines and submit the application form. Candidates are redirected to the payment gateway. Now, candidates are required to make the payment by using payment methods like the given below  

• Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro).  
• Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallet. 

On successful completion of the payment, an e-receipt is generated. 

Candidates have to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form and save it for further use.
