Admissions to MAHE programmes are open usually in October/November and students are encouraged to apply early since the institute offers limited seats for BSc and other course. Applicants can apply before appearing for their final exams. The Admissions Committee will take into account the marks of previous year/exams in processing the applications. Applicants who receive offer letters can join with a provisional admission and submit their results later. To retain their admission, students must have received a minimum 45% in a board recognised by the Government of India.

Yes, MCH (Manipal Centre for Humanities) regularly invites experts from the industry and scholars in allied fields to share their expertise with BSc students. Alumni visits and talks are also organised at frequent intervals. Faculty at MAHE inform students of any opportunities or openings that are announced or forwarded to them. Yes, it is mandatory for all first year BSc students to reside in the campus hostels of MAHE. Those desirous of staying outside under own arrangements must submit a consent letter from their parents duly recommended by their HOI and forward it to Director, Student Affairs for necessary permission.
