The college is really good for aeronautical engineering. We have very good professionals and lab facilities to help the students understand all the concepts as well as they can. Placements are not so much as of now because the knowledge from undergraduate studies is barely enough to qualify you for a job in the field of aeronautics but you can expect an initial package of Rs 3-5 lakhs.

Academically, the college is really good. I have learnt a lot about the field since I joined the college. We have amazing professors and they're always very helpful. They make sure all out concepts are clear and that we understand the practical working of everything we're studying too. We have good labs to help with the practical knowledge. There are some very expensive testing machines as well which are not available in most aeronautical colleges in India.

There are very few technical companies coming for placements for aeronautical engineering. A few companies that came for placements are Quest Global, Textron Avionics, Honeywell, Altair and Mercedes.

Yes, the college offers aeronautical engineering. To get into the college, you've to apply online for the Manipal University online entrance test. After giving the tests and receiving the results, you'll be called for branch selection where you can choose your desired branch.

Manipal is definitely better than college in Mumbai for aeronautical engineering. We have better facilities and infrastructure. The professors are also very knowledgeable and have expertise in various domains of aeronautics.

Aeronautical engineering as a field and department is really good in Manipal. The professors are very helpful and knowledgeable and interactive and we have a lot of facilities and laboratories for the same. Placements are not that good since after undergraduate studies, more knowledge is required to work in aerospace companies.
