Not many companies come for campus placements for Aeronautical Engineering. Of those who come, their package may vary between 2-20 lakhs. It matters a lot on your side. If they feel you have a lot of knowledge and passion, they might give you a higher package. If they are not impressed by you, they may give you the lowest.

Both Manipal and VIT are very good institutes for engineering.
The advantage of the courses offered in VIT is flexible course system and timing. A course will be taught by different professors at different times.
