The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) administers the MET exam, a  university entrance exam, to candidates seeking admission to the institution's numerous undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs every year. MET 2024 is an online exam that is center-based. Candidates have to select their test city, center, and slot. MET 2024 candidates who score 180 out of 240 are deemed to have an excellent score. The cost of the application is INR 600, and the entrance exam fee is INR 1400. A minimum of 50% of the total cumulative marks in the qualifying UG degree must be obtained for the PG program. 

The candidate must earn a minimum of 50% of the possible grades in their BE/B.Tech in a relevant field from an accredited university. GATE-qualified students will be given preference. In addition, to be admitted to the M.Tech program, a candidate must pass the MET (a university-level entrance test). The major specializations offered in M.Tech programs are Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Avionics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer-Aided Analysis and Design, Computer Science and Information Technology, etc. 

Admissions at Manipal Global Academy of Data Science are entrance-based for the MSc in Data Science program, and merit-based for the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Data Science and Machine Learning. The entrance examination and/or personal interview are conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The merit of rank is prepared by using the grade obtained in Mathematics and/or Statistics and/or Computer Science in the qualifying examinations.

The highest package offered at Manipal Global Academy of Data Science is INR 12 LPA. This was for the graduates of the Postgraduate Program in Data Science, which is a full-time course offered in collaboration with Jigsaw Academy. The programme claims to provide guaranteed placement assistance, industry exposure, and hands-on learning.

Placement stats for 2024 has not bene released by Kasturba Medical College, but as per the NIRF report 2023, the college offers good placement opportunities with satisfactory packages to the students. Median package offered to the students in the year 2022 was INR 3.2 LPA for UG programmes, and for PG programmes, the same was INR 4.1 LPA.
