Both are Institutes of same brand value. For courses like M.A Rural, M.A Sociology, M.A Tamil Gandhigram Rural Institute is better and for MBA, MCA Manonmaniam Sundaranar University is better. Depending upon your factors to consider, you can choose the one better for you.
Actually, both are equally good .You can prefer one which is cheaper and closer

The university is value for money college. The fees is low. Specially for job oriented courses like MBA, MCA. Although the university do not offer high exposure and placement opportunities but it is good to go college as the fees is low. The infrastructure is good and one can except all the amenities as given in a public university.

Manomaniam Sundarnar University is a recognised university. Although University is newly established (1990) but some of its affiliated colleges are 100 year old. Uniqueness of the university is low fees and also the quality is decent .The main campus is spread on 550 areas with all basic amenities and extremely exposure .

The Manonmaniam University is more known for offering demanding courses at a very affordable price ( The university is NIRF ranked but low rank).
Few top courses with fees are as follow -
- MBA. 1st Yr Fees.? 21,650.
- B.Sc + M.Sc. 1st Yr Fees.? 7,050.

GRI is a different kind of Institute mainly known for job oriented and MA Rural Development course.IGI offer quality education at an affordable price.
MSU is an old university of same caliber.
One can choose the one which is closer and less costly.

Master of Business Administration is a full-time two-year postgraduate degree course and Approved by AICTE, with Specializations offered - Marketing, Production, Finance, Human Resource, and System and approved by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.
There is no specific specilization for which Manomaniam University is famous but one should choose an MBA specilization which demanding, interest you, and in allignment with previous education .For example if you have done B.Com, MBA finance would be better choice.
