Music production includes programming music in a DAW (Digital audio workstation) as for now maximum of the work is done in a DAW. Admission to post graduate Diploma in Mass Communication is usually based on a written test. The entrance exam for Diploma in mass Communication tests a candidate's general knowledge and aptitude. Each institute conducts its own test. Some institutes also hold interviews for selection of candidates for mass communication courses. The entrance test is more or less similar to that of Bachelor's in Mass Communication. To pursue this course you should apply to appear for relevant entrance exams. Once you have a valid score, you can apply to various colleges for admission. Regards.

I would say sound engineering is a better option as it is an extensive course and has better job opportunities than a DJ certificate course. Sound engineering is a challenging field, yet very rewarding. Sound Engineers develop a high quality recording of music, speech and sound effects in studios. Hi Ajith!
If you wish to switch your field of education and pursue visual communication, you can go for B.Sc. In visual communication. If you were eyeing on M.Sc. Programme in visual communication after B.Sc. In Maths, then you are not eligible. You will have to start from scratch and apply for graduation course in visual communication.
