Both courses, if seen individually have advantages and disadvantages. Hotel Management is a really a good option only if you are interested in service field and are up to hard work, irregular shifts. But, it is a glamorous industry, you get to meet different types of people, which gives exposure. On other hand, mass communication is a field where you communicate with people. It totally depends on you where your interests are.

At UG level, there is only Journalism and Mass Communication course that you can pursue. It has advertising as one of its main subjects. You can take up a specialised course in advertising at PG level once you complete your graduation.

It depends on your interest. If you want to pursue a career in research, teaching, administrative or civil services, political Science would be a great option. If you wish to pursue a career in journalism, advertising, event management, public relations etc., then mass communication will be a wise choice. You need to figure out your interest to make a choice between both.

Hi Sonali, You can join spoken English classes if you want. That will help you to have a command over the English language. Apart from this, read newspapers, magazines, novels, etc. , and read out loud. This will help you to train your brain and will bring a flow to your conversation. Reading will also help you to enhance your vocabulary. Watching English series and movies will also help boost your confidence. Also, try writing down your thoughts and stories or whatever you like.
