Hello, placements are 100% at Amity University. You just need to be groomed enough and work hard while you are studying. Make sure that you make your portfolio strong enough.
As I am a last year student from the same institute and from last three years I have been continuously working on my portfolio and within a couple of months placement companies must be approaching the institute. I am hoping to get placed as well.
Thanks.
All the best.

The education world is going interdisciplinary today. I different in my opinion from the previous comment given by a Mass Comm Graduate. BJMC and LLB compliment each other that way.
LLB is more appropriate bit you know the years it will take. but it will make you eligible to practice LAW. You can enter Journalism even without BJMC if your Law skills are good for media works.

Journalism as a career is an attractive option for youngsters especially for those who have a flair for writing and communication and wish to do something for the society.
Journalism has nothing to do with changing the world- as is always believed- it is only a medium between the world and the common man.
It is for people who are ready to explore various opportunities 24/7, without any constraints.
In short the person should be:
Good in language and vocabulary
Updated with current affairs
Efficient in meeting deadlines
Quick in responding to happenings
Keen interest for news
Outgoing
Qualification:
Journalism course can be done either after 12th
