The course of visual communications is extremely vague. There will be lots of scopes after doing graduation in this field but not a specific one.
The syllabus they teach in this course is not specified, in the sense, they don't cover a single subject. It's about drawing, photography, Tv production, etc.
What you can do after graduation in visual communications is:
- Journalism
- Animation
- Graphic Artist
- Industrial Designer

IIMC entrance is based on 2 types of evaluation.
Written Entrance.
Interview.
If one is selected in the written test, he is called for the interview.
There are 3 courses popular in IIMC Delhi.
PG in Print Journalism (2 sections of English and Hindi)
PG in Radio and Television
Advertising and PR.
In addition to that , there are courses like PG in Urdu Journalism, Odia Journalism (Dhenkanal Centre, Orissa).

I would suggest you can go for acting and pursue it since you can go for M.Sc in mass media and communication for proper level of skills to be adopted in that respective field to engage yourself in acting.

Hello Abhinab,
Normally, universities insist on having some bare minimum domain knowledge before permitting . However as you are seeking to do PG diploma only, I think you are eligible for doing this presently.

Thanks for the questions. 1923 is a good rank but you wouldn't be able to get into VIPS or Maharaja Agarsen with that rank, however you get still get into colleges like Tecnia, Trinity etc or wait for the spot counseling round.
