You can pursue a post-graduation in journalism, in fact, after completing B.Sc (MSCS). However, to answer your question straight forward, you can pursue journalism just after 12th.

A course in mass communication is just as other courses and generally is completed in 3 years (Graduation). The post-graduation in the same field is about 2 years with diplomas being about 1-2 years, depending upon the subject for diploma being chosen.
