The specific advantage you shall get depends from company to company. Some may give you a higher salary, while since may give you preferences over others. Be assured that experience counts. There are certain companies where one of the eligibility criteria is experience of certain time duration, those companies will open up for you.

Currently, there is no institute offering courses in Travel Journalism. One can opt for Journalism as a course and later may join Travel domain .

IIMC Radio and TV journalism focus on the history and all aspects happened in both Radio and Journalism field, whereas IIMC Journalism is a broader concept, taking you to the print, broadcast and other channels of journalism as well.

It is advised that you should complete 12th first and then opt for journalism course. Diploma course after 10th will not add any value to your career.
