What course do you want to know about? There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. You can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D visualizations. You may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters.
You can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. You can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. You could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. You can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star.
You can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, VFX, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Some people are passionate about acting - they must understand that acting cannot provide jobs since this is an assignment based industry and one must fit the role. So, it could be better to enter this industry after acquiring a technical skill.

Public Relations is a career avenue for those who have excellent communication skills and who wish to pursue a career that offers an opportunity to interact with lots of interesting people. This is a profession where you need to understand the listener's psyche and mold it in your favor.
The first World Assembly of Public Relations Associations, held in Mexico City in August 1978, defined the practice of public relations as "the art and social science of analyzing trends, predicting their consequences, counselling organizational leaders and implementing planned programs of action, which will serve both the organization and the public interest. “The skill to handle and manage people is of prime importance and with an inclination to influence people's view you can help create a particular image of an individual or organization amongst the general public with creative use of different media.
Events and occasions are an integral part of human life. We simply cannot bypass them as they touch almost all aspects of our social existence. Birthday celebrations, social gatherings, engagements and weddings are events we celebrate at the personal level.
During academic years there are school events such as annual day functions, inter and intra school contests, sports day celebrations, followed by college and university level festivals. In the sphere of work, there are annual general meetings, exhibitions, marketing campaigns, conferences, product launches and brand development activities. Other events such as fashion shows, cultural programs, talent hunt shows, promotional campaigns, religious gatherings and so on also play an important role in our life.
