okay well.the thing with event management is that you have to start from 0.literally the base.and then if you are good enough you can reach a peak.my dad is an event manager.he has been in this profession for 8 years and now he's earning pretty well ( in lakhs ) .
but he has got a low family life.his passport looks like a stamp book.he has travelled the whole world .its fun.event managing is fun but hectic at the same time.u hav to be on the sets and work.and aftr the event is done.u party hard at the venue.so every profession has its pros and cons.if u are brave enough go ahead.all the best.!!

For seeking admission in Bachelor of Journalism Mass communication, candidate must have completed their 10+2 examination with not less than 50% of marks, and 45% for the candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC.

Pursuing journalism is a good idea. To become a journalist for print media or electronic media does not require a specific degree but specific skill set, personality and interest. However, a degree in mass communication will take you closer to your target and you would understand better the requirements of becoming a journalist.

To become a news anchor, show host, analyst or a TV reporter, you need to have a bachelor's degree in mass comm, English, political science, psychology etc. You need not do a specific diploma or degree. The basic requirement are excellent inter-personal capability, very good oral and written communication, objectivity, determination, familiarity with video and digital cameras and mobile broadcasting equipment, ability to use social media applications and database programs such as Microsoft Access and FileMaker Pro. Dear Diya,
The minimum percentage which almost all colleges look for is 50% in 12th standard. And now a days, almost all colleges and universities conduct entrance tests and on the basis of the same, the intake process of students is decided.
So do good in CBSE and then start preparing for entrance tests.

You may pursue Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, which will also serve you as a graduation degree and get your enrolled into short term event management courses. The courses are available online, in case you don't get time to attend physical classes for event management.
