The ideal options after Engineering are-
M.E or M.TECH
M.SC or MBA in respective specialization
You should stick by your domain in order to have an added advantage in the competitive market. At the same time, it is very important that you opt for or look at doing something that you are good at and would enjoy keeping in mind your personality, aptitude, ability, strengths and career goals.
If at all, you want to switch over, go ahead and pursue a career in mass communication.
After completing their course in mass communication one can work as a copywriter, advertising professional, journalist, news anchor and a PR Officer and so on.

1. Merit in MR-NAT 2013 as 1st preference
2. Merit in Qualifying exam as 2nd preference.
The minimum eligibility criteria is- 50% marks in aggregate of best 5 subjects in 10+2 in any stream with pass in English. Admissions are now open for the session 2013 at MRIU. To apply please go to http://mriu.edu.in/ and click on Apply Now to Register.

Hrutu, in XIIth you can take up any stream because Mass communication, film making courses are graduation courses in the college. However if you are certain to opt for Mass communication / film making / journalism then you must choose History as one of the subjects and English or Hindi as other main subject.
