To begin with, if you have just completed you 12th then I would advise you to start with a mass communication course from a good college, it would open your perspective and help you understand the media industry better (since you are interest in news about movies too). Then for the next level go for a good film school like FTII where in you can learn the intricacies of Film Making. It would also allow you to be part of good section of the film fraternity and to learn a lot. Now to answer your job part, unlike other courses and fields, film making is a course or rather a field that comes with no guarantees at all. So don't go in expe

Actually the duration will remain same. There is no connection with the master degree and the PGDM. Maybe some study item or modules are same but those are wholly two different courses.

I don't think any institute can actually make you prepare for the entrance test of govt. colleges of mass communication.
You have to be up to date with all sorts of news and you must know different aspects of media. Those you can do by your own. Take help from the internet.

I don't think there is any such course which can improve your writing.
It comes from you. No one actually can teach you writing. I would suggest you to look for guidelines, instructions about writing various matters, available in the Internet.

For that you have to decide the colleges in which you want your daughter will study, shortlist them. After that apply for those two courses (look for the availability of the particular course). Then follow the instructions.
At the end if you find you daughter's name on the merit list get her admitted.
