Admissions to these courses are merit in the Entrance Test conducted by University. However, for admissions to M.Sc. (Hons) in Physics/Chemistry/Human Genetics, admission will be based on merit of the candidate in B.Sc. (Hons). Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) is a government state university, established in the year 1969 in the name of Guru Nanak Ji on his 500th birthday, GNDU has achieved Grade A accreditation from NAAC. The university is UGC approved & is ranked at 80th position in the overall category by NIRF 2022. Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed is passed graduation or postgraduation in any discipline from a recognised University with 50% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% in case of reserved categories, you have to clear your backlogs if you want to take admission based on postgraduate degree and moreover even if you complete B.Ed based on graduation degree, you cannot teach higher classes (such as PGT )as your Masters degree is still incomplete, hence for better prospects and opportunities professionally you must complete your Masters degree. For taking admission in B.Ed degree you have to clear all the backs at the time of admission that means you have the complete degree at the time of admission then you can get admission in B.Ed degree.

Miranda House offers MA, M.Sc. courses under PG programmes in multiple specializations. Candidates applying to any of these courses must qualify Bachelors Degree in the relevant discipline. Selection process will be based on merit or Entrance Exam score.
Miranda House PG Courses Selection Process:
Admission is granted on the basis of Merit and valid DUET scores.
As per DU guideline students who have complete their Graduation from any of the DU affiliated colleges and are seeking for PG admission in the relevant field can opt for merit based admission.
Candidates Graduating from different Universities or with a Bachelors Degree in different subjects must qualify the DU conducted entrance exam (DUET).

Hi! If you are currently in 2nd year you have around 2 years to prepare for PG courses in du. As you are in Science field I'll suggest you to make your domain a bit bigger and also look for other universities like BHU, JNU, IITS etc. It will help you to get better placement and will give you more options. The syllabus for Masters exam is almost same for every University, for engineering colleges like IIT, nsut, nits the entrance exam is held in February every year and its name is IIT JAM u can search for it and know more about it, whereas the exam for du entrance is held in September so you will have a lot of time in between. So I'll suggest you to start preparing for exam form now because syllabus is too much and focus on numerical based preparation. You have around 2 years to complete your syllabus and I'll suggest you to join any course for guidance in your field. Good Luck.
