For some colleges you need to apply before the exam and for some after the exam. But for maximum colleges you need to apply before the exam.

Yes , as you said you have selected by MAT that is management seat ,if you write pgcet and choose PES then it is a government subsidized seat where the fee is less ,thereafter you need to cancelled the mat seat and readmission by pgcet.

The admission through CAP is only through CET score. MAT is not accepted by the DTE.

Congratulations for good score.The average placements range from 3.5-5.5lpa.There is no hostel facilities. The fees for two years is 5 lakhs plus 25000 security money which is refundable.

Yes you can apply through cap rounds but only for all india seats. Check the percentage of all india seats on dte website. The chances are critical due to limitation of seats in that category.
