Ruplai, the main difference between MBA and PGDM is that MBA is a degree and is offered by universities, whereas, PGDM is a post-graduate diploma offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Indian universities come under the University Grants Commission (UGC) and therefore, award degrees like the MBA degree, also known as MMS in Mumbai. Universities follow the UGC format for course content. On the other hand, reputed management institutes design their courses based on industry feedback and business relevance. They are not covered under the UGC.

Yes you are right alina, for pgdbm dalmia accepts scores of cat, cmat, xat and mhcet. With mat scores you cant apply for pgdbm but you can apply for mms course through cap rounds by dte for all india seats. In N.L. Dalmia both pgdbm and mms students are treated equally and equal education is imparted.

Hi Abinaya.
As of now there is no mat score that is required to get in to mba at hindustan university. So you can easily just apply by going to their office at Guindy.
About mba at hindustan, its was a really good learning experience for me. They have really good teaching staff who provide you with great resources to study. As regard to your hr specialization choice i would say i not that aware of it as i had taken marketing and finance as my specialization. But from what my friends have told i hear that they are really good. And they got to know in dept reagrding the hr activities.
So i hope i have cleared your doubt.
