If you are interested in admission in north region, Chandigarh University can be a good chice. It offers MSc in pure Math, applied, Computational Math and Statistics. It has good placement record. Students also opt for Net exam n PhD admission after doing Masters in Math.

There are number of universities in punjab which are having Masters in Mathematics like Punjab university in Chandigarh, Punjabi University Patiala, IISER mohali, some private university like Chandigarh University. CU is no. 1 private university in Punjab. They offer M.Sc in pure n Applied Math.

By default the following range of marks are related to the grades: A+: 90-100, A: 80-89, B+: 70-79, B: 60-69, C: 50-59, D: 40-49, F: <40. The instructor may change these ranges in the We Learn system to obtain an even distribution of grades.
Applicants must scored 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and OBC-NCL categories and 55% for SC/ST/PWD in any recognised board.
Eligibility for BS-MS in Mathematical Sciences
They must have minimum aggregate marks of 60% to be eligible for the program.
