Hi Kapil, for MCA mathematics is required in 10+2. You are eligible to apply basis your B.Com degree, any UG degree holder can apply for MCA however maths is required in 10+2. You may still check with the colleges directly for the admission requirements.

After completing B.Sc in applied mathematics there are two options to pursue a career. Either opt for higher studies or get a job in public or private sector. Hello Alka,
Economics is a very unique subject. Even though it's a part of bouquet in humanities, sound mathematics helps a lot. Hence many students are desirous of taking maths as subject along with economics. It's better this way. But in job market it makes no difference.

For B.Sc Maths under DU, the candidate needs to have qualified HSC with at least 45% aggregate marks as well as a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics.
