Balanced academics, green campus, modest placements.
Placements: The college has low to moderate placement rates. Typical salary range sits between 2 LPA - 4 LPA, while top performers (especially in IT or computer Science fields) occasionally get offers up to 5 LPA - 6 LPA, with rare outliers reporting packages as high as 20 LPA. They circulate internship opportunities (some stipend-based) from start-ups, banks, consultancies like Crisil, and UrbanClap.
Infrastructure: Campus size & layout is spread over ~10 acres in South Campus near the Aravali range, featuring lush lawns and red-brick buildings. Classrooms and labs, around 40 classrooms (plate_number_1-enabled), with AC in some rooms, plus department-wise labs for Geology, Comp Sci, Microbiology, and Maths.
Faculty: Overall faculty score: ~4.2/5. An impressive rating indicating strong faculty performance. Highly educated teaching staff, many are UGC NET qualified; a significant number hold PhDs from top universities like DU and JNU.
Other: Friendly yet diverse vibe. Many students describe the crowd as decent, well-behaved, and academically driven. Conversations and study groups are common. Overall, a balanced environment. Vibrant greenery & relaxed hangout spots. The front lawns, amphitheatre, and lawns are frequented by students for study sessions and casual meetups, giving the campus a welcoming feel.

The college has a developing infrastructure with greater societies and clubs.
Placements: The B.Com course at Ram Lal Anand College is well-structured, covering subjects like accounting, taxation, economics, and business law. Faculty members are experienced and supportive, encouraging conceptual clarity and practical application. Classes and internal assessments are conducted regularly. Placement opportunities are growing, with companies like TCS, Wipro, and a few startups visiting campus, though most high-end placements happen off-campus. The college also connects students to the DU central placement cell. Proactive students who pursue internships, and certification, and join societies like E-cell or enactus often gain better exposure. Overall, it's a solid course with good academic grounding and developing placement support.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-maintained library with a common room for girls and a hygienic canteen. Ram Lal Anand College, located in the heart of Delhi University's South Campus, offers a balanced academic atmosphere supported by decent infrastructure. The campus is relatively compact but well-maintained, with recent upgrades reflecting efforts to modernize student facilities. The college provides fully air-conditioned classrooms with projectors in most departments, ensuring a teach-friendly learning environment. The library is spacious, digitally enabled, and stocked with academic resources, journals, and e-resources accessible through DU's central systems. A major highlight is the new auditorium, which hosts seminars, fests, and cultural events.
Faculty: Teachers are available for help and exams are easy if clear with the concepts Lal Anand College offers a solid academic foundation across various disciplines, especially in commerce, political science, computer science, and english. The college is affiliated with the University of Delhi, ensuring its curriculum is up-to-date, structured, and aligned with national education standards. Classes are conducted regularly, and internal assessments (assignments, presentations, and tests) are taken seriously, contributing significantly to the academic rigor. The timetable is well-planned, giving students enough time to balance academics and extracurricular activities. The faculty is one of the stronger aspects of the college.

Detailed analysis of RLAC by a senior.
Placements: Approximately 2–3 students get placed in college and most students don't even have the confidence to sit for the placement. The college has a placement cell, which can help students get placed. Students and teachers are still working to make it good. I hope they will be able to do it soon.
Infrastructure: The faculty was good but the infrastructure, according to the fee structure, was considered the worst. No hostel facility was available for the students, which they must provide. If you want to pursue a B.Sc. with honors in computer science, you should consider RLAC as your last choice.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable but the success of students depends on not only teachers but on students too. Teachers are very competent and help students with all their doubts. Teachers help students solve all their doubts.

Everything is fine, the placement is satisfactory, facilities are so fine.
Placements: Companies like Wipro, TCS, EY, ICICI Prudential, Decathlon, Accenture, Concentrix, and Times Internet have participated in RLA placement drives. Students are offered roles in domains such as marketing, sales, finance, consulting, HR, content writing, data analysis, and teaching. The average package typically ranges between 3 LPA to 4.5 LPA, depending on the stream and profile. Some students have bagged offers as high as 10 LPA, especially in off-campus and internship-to-placement conversions. The college also supports students in securing internships with organizations such as CRY, Teach for India, Internshala, AIESEC, and various startups.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and ventilated. Most are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and audio-visual aids, providing a modern teaching and learning experience. The college is fully Wi-Fi enabled, giving students and faculty access to high-speed internet throughout the campus, including in classrooms, the library, and common areas. The college houses well-equipped laboratories for computer science, microbiology, statistics, and environmental science. These labs are regularly updated with the latest instruments and software to support practical learning, research, and innovation. RLA also has a vibrant and hygienic canteen.
Faculty: The BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course at Ram Lal Anand College is taught by experienced and qualified faculty with industry and academic expertise. The curriculum is dynamic, covering subjects like finance, marketing, HR, business law, and analytics, blending theory with practical learning. Regular case studies, presentations, and internships enhance industry exposure. Exams are conducted semester-wise under Delhi University guidelines, including internal assessments, projects, and written papers.
Other: I am pursuing a BMS (Batch 2022-2025) at Ram Lal Anand College. I chose this course due to my interest in business and management. The best parts are the practical curriculum, supportive faculty, and exposure through projects and internships. However, more industry interaction and skill-based workshops would improve the program. The campus has a vibrant crowd, good connectivity, and a scenic location near the South Campus. Events like Yuvaan and departmental fests add to the experience. Extracurricular activities and societies are active, and scholarships are available for eligible students.

Ain't satisfied with this college.
Placements: Placements are pretty low. Not much good companies ever arrive at college and the ones that do only select a few. You are on your own here. Even teachers agree over thus statement that placement is really low over here. If you are here, build your CV with all you have got.
Infrastructure: The building isn't really much, we share our ground. But the labs are good. The whole building doesn't take much space. Toilets are getting better but they are not good as of now. The canteen is good. We get AC in classes so that's good.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good. Never thought I would get such sweet and helpful teachers. Few are a lost case but mostly are really good. They try and help you as much as possible so that's a good point about this college. The way exams are conducted is also pretty nice. Teachers are good.
Other: Too much politics, plus it feels like just anyone is there.

Dissatisfied with the placements, infrastructure and many other things.
Placements: There are no placements in RLAC until you get top ranks or the maximum SGPA or CGPA, only then will you get a placement offer of a package worth 2-3 LPA. There are many students in this course because even with a less CUET score you can get into this course.
Infrastructure: Wifi works only in some of the areas. The classrooms are like that of hindi medium schools. The food in the mess is average, but according to the price charged, it is good. You can prefer sports in RLAC, they’re good. The teachers are also good in the college, they are very helpful towards the students.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and are very helpful towards the students. There are high chances that the questions asked by them in our tests come in the semester exams. It makes it very easy for us as direct questions are asked in the exams. After giving practicals you get enough marks to pass the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I am doing UPSC. Nothing about this course is best, it’s just a normal course. The curriculum taught under it has already been taught in your schools if you had history and political science then.
