Since you have done you graduation in Statistics and you are showing interest in Analyst, I hope you are willing to be the 'Data Scientist'. For this you not just need Masters but also Doctorate required. Yes! MBA in analyst from Amity 'Noida Campus' is good. But be consisting. Don't say that you are changing your stream from Maths to Management. Just write that you are willing to continue to applying your Maths skills to take managerial decision. What you all just need is to explain the relationship between maths and quantitative management and say that this is the best combination for the job. I Hope you are writing SOP for a big MNC and you probably have done your PG in Finance. Just explain that how you have applied your mathematical skills in management to be the effective. Don't write that you have changed the stream just explain the correlation between these two. Hope this helps. Upvote the

You can apply to any college. You don't need to have maths for B.Com. Maths is a mandatory subject for pursuing B.Com (Hons) and not B.Com.
