Yes, it is compulsory to get passing marks in maths. But it's not compulsory to add it in your best four percentage.

You need to do Diploma through distance because our education system doesn't allow to do 2 regular courses simultaneously.

After completing M.Sc, you can either take a job as a professor or can study further, complete Ph.D and then work as a mathematician and enter in the research field. Many organizations and companies require mathematicians even you can work with the government in the government organisations like ISR

For becoming a zoologist, you have to first complete 10+2 with PCB subject then you can take a Bachelors course in zoology.

This is not a big problem. I got just 71 marks in maths and 86% in 10th. After getting low marks, l took PCM in 11th because I wanted to become an engineer. I practiced to improve my maths consistently and now I'm one of the toppers in my class. You can improve your strength in maths.
