There is no difference between mba and pgdm. Its only nomenclature which differs. After pursuing graduation in mechanical engineering, you should go for mba/pgdm(operations). That would b more fruitful relating your grad background. All the best. Thank you.

Nothing is tough and nothing is easy. You need passion, driven by ambition and a strong career goal to pursue a certain course. So its all about how u take it. Pgdm can be pursued by a student of any domain clearing grad with 50% marks and qualifying entrances like cat, mat, xat, atma, cmat etc. All the best.

It depends on your interests and career goals, but yes a MBA from a reputed institute would be a good option. There are science graduates like you who are doing MBA. So if you are willing to go for a management job, MBA is a good option. in that case just target for the good institutes, and start your CAT prepration as soon as possible.

when you are looking for Abroad studies you have to look things in the Global perspective. only in India and also in USA the govt does not have control over educational institutions. Germany has very good system and they offer free education for students has more than 80% marks. You first few nd put weather you are eligible for admission and try to get admission. Don't try to find out which is good and bad. unlike India most of the countries can not recruit foreign students unless the institution is recognised by the Govt.

MBA is generic management degree. Choice of MBA specialisation has no correlation with basic educational qualifications. Sales & Marketing is one specialisation where you will able to utilise your Mech Engineering knowladge if you take up job in engineering firm after MBA.
