One of the good options after BE in mechanical is:
M.Tech in streams like IC Engines n Automobiles, Materials Science, Metallurgical Sciences, Thermal engineering, CAD/CAE, CIM/ Production, Fluidics/ Hydraulics, Mechatronics, Nanotech, Industrial engineering.
If you are looking for MBA then Operations, Supply Chain, and Strategic Management are good streams

After 2 years of work experience is the best way to pursue MBA because most of the business organizations look for work-ex MBA students. It helps them to easily train the students. Work experience in IT companies is most relevant to work experience. Even individuals find it easy to gel with the corporate culture easily.
