Candidates will be chosen in accordance with Dibrugarh University's established procedures. A 200-mark NERIM Entrance Test (NET) with sections on English Language, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Numerical Ability will be administered. In addition to the written test, there will be a 50-point Group Discussion and a 50-point Personal Interview. Candidates who have passed the NERIM Entrance Test (NET) with a valid MAT score of at least 500 or a minimum CAT percentile are not required to take the exam. However, for final selection, such candidates must show up for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).

Thapar University offers MBA programmes via the LM Thapar School of Management. Admissions are currently open for Thapar University Patiala MBA courses. Candidates seeking admission must apply online before its last date. To be eligible for Thapar University MBA admission, students are required to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA or corresponding grade secured from a recognised University/Institute. Candidates with a post-graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% are also eligible to apply for MBA admission.
