Candidates who are interested in admission at Oriental University MBA course in any specialisation must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate marks for General category and 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC. Admissions at Oriental University are based on national-level entrance examinations. Therefore, in addition to meeting the basic eligibility criteria, candidates have to appear for either CAT or MAT examination to be considered for the admission process.

The eligibility criteria includes the following:

  1. An undergraduate degree from any recognised university/ college with at least 50% aggregate
  2. Candidate needs to appear for KMAT exam which is open for all the students
  3. VTU will shortlist candidates based on the qualifying exam scores.

Candidates are selected on the basis of SNAP cut offs for the MBA admission round which consists of Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). This round is held in February and March after the announcement of SNAP result.

Candidates who clear the GE-PI-WAT round are selected for MBA admission. The parameters for selection also include class 10, 12 and graduation scores, academic profile and work experience. All SIU institutes conduct Group Exercise, Writing Ability Test but individually.

The eligibility criteria for MBA course at IIMHRD is that the candidates should have passed Class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category students within Maharashtra) from a recognised Institute/University).
