Placement
The placement is good and few good companies are showing interest for the past few years as per the research but the packages are confidential. Though the packages cannot be compared to IIT and IIM colleges the packages are not as bad as you think for a fresher. Some companies that are interested in CMR are as follows. Amazon, Oracle, Accenture, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities and rules are cool and of course the food is not as good as your mom's cuisines. The girl's hostel is located inside the compound for more safety and security purpose. And the boy's hostel is away from the main gate but walkable distance from the college. The rooms and water and power facilities are very generous.
Campus Life
For PG students more of workshops and managerial activities are encouraged. Games and sports are the least. No issues on religion, caste, region anything such. The environment is cool as the students are from all across the country. The campus live is awesome with Rich flavor and number of variety of cuisines and fast food available and 1 campus canteen. The facilities are friendly off the class and very supportive to students in terms of entrepreneurship and any academic activities.

MBA from UBS-Ludhiana is good. Placements: In previous years, there were almost 100% placements every year. The highest package for the 2017-19 batch was around 55 Lacs. Top recruiting companies include HSBC, EY, KPMG, INFOSYS, etc. In terms of internship too all the students GOT placed into good companies. Infrastructure: The quality of classrooms have improved from previous years there are projector and air conditioners installed in every class. There are only a few labs in the department. But being a part of Panjab University there are a lot of labs. The quantity of hostel food is not that great. Other facilities like sports and games, canteens are really very good. Faculty: The teachers are very experienced and know the subjects and their ins and Outs pretty well. Teachers here focus on every student and make him understand each and every concept. Also the course curriculum is as per the current trends in industry such as there are courses related to data Science in the curriculum. Thank you.

I believe, you want to check as to which profession will give you higher salary. Please understand that a specialization doesn't guarantee great salary. It is all about your work & interpersonal skills that help you achieve success. A marketing specialization will offer you a career in Sales, Branding, corporate communication, PR, Consumer insight, etc. Across industry domains.
A Finance specialization will, offer you a career in Credit rating agencies, Asset management. Capital market, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Micro finance, financial planning, academics, accounts, corporate finance across BFSI sector. Your choice would depend a lot on your personality traits & interest areas. Each MBA specialization needs specific personality traits for excelling in the profession, so do evaluate your inherent personality traits and then take a call.
