MD Hospital/ DNB Hospital Administration is 3 years programme for MBBS graduate offered at selected Institutes across the country. AIIMS AFMC, Manipal are some of the best Institute for the same. Admission is based on PG medical entrance, except AIIMS NEET for all other Institutes. If you're very keen on going for Hospital Administration, I shall recommend you to go for ISB's MBA Healthcare administration. The advantage is one-year duration and acceptance across the globe. Also, it's the best business school in the country, so it will increase your perspective in terms of career growth. Maharashtra vs MBA vs MD in Hospital/ Healthcare Administration, I will strongly recommend you to go for an MBA from ISB, Manipal, Symbiosis, NMIMS, or IIHMR. The second option would be Maharashtra from TISS. I don't recommend MD as anywhere in the world, MD in Hospital Management course being offered. So, that will hamper your chance of going abroad. Also, 3 years duration is one more major concern for me, especially when all the top B-Schools are offering a better course in 1 year. Post MD/DNB/Maharashtra/MBA, you can join various departments of Pharma, Hospital, NGO, Consulting, Insurance, Medical devices, and FMCG companies. You can start as a manager in QA, Medico marketing, strategy, Business Development, Sales, Regulatory, etc. And may reach the CEO position. Hi,An entrance exam would be conducted by the University. The entrance exam will be for 75 marks (comprising objective type questions related to the Problem Solving, Healthcare awareness, Verbal Ability and General Knowledge). Candidates shortlisted after the written test will be called for Group Discussion and Personal interview. The final offer would be made on the basis of performance in the written test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. Weightage for written exam will be 60%, weightage for the Group Discussion will be 15 % and 25% weightage for the Personal Interview. The University will release the admission notification in the months of March/April every year. The notification would be advertised in popular newspapers and can also be accessed on the University website.
