IBS Mumbai PGPM is a full-time post graduate programme which is industry recognised programme whereas PGDM is a Diploma programme approved by AICTE and is also equivalent to 2 years full time MBA programme. Ideally, you should look for companies visiting the campus for placements but if your campus is providing good opportunities then the degree should not matter but since you have 2.5 years of work ex I would recommend you to go in for PGDM programme with a good institution.

Entrance exams are not restricted to only one exam every year, multiple exams are available the whole year. Appear in one of them and you will get call up from different good college based on your rank or score.
