Yes candidates can take admissions into GITAM MBA without the CAT entrance exam but only if they scored an appropriate rank in the MAT entrance exam. Candidates are required to appear for either the CAT or the MAT exam in order to be qualified for MBA admissions at GITAM. Candidates can register for either exams by visiting the official portal for the chosen exam.

There is only 1 specialisation of MBA course offered by GITAM which is available in both the general mode and the working professional mode. Instead of offering seperate MBA specialisation courses, GITAM allows its MBA students to choose the MBA course subjects of their choice. Candidates can choose subjects for the following specialisations:
