The Graduate Record Examination GRE is a standardized test that is required to be taken by students seeking admission to graduate schools. Yes, you can apply through EDR round. The EDR applications are open till 15th January. The CAT cutoff for IFMR is 80 percentile. Your CAT score seems to be lower than the cutoff. However, IFMR follows profile-based shortlisting. The overall profile of the candidate including academic record, work experience and other achievements (represented country, state or district/ university in Sports, Debate, Drama, Moot Court, NCC (but not NSS) volunteering, activism) are also taken under consideration. TAPMI
IMI-Delhi/Kolkata/Bhubaneswar
IFMR
Great Lakes-Chennai
BIMTECH-Noida
K.J.Somaiya.
If you have a good academic profile or work experience then you have good chances to convert these colleges. Other colleges you can look for are ICFAI Business School, Amity University, IFIM-Bangalore, NIBM-Pune, BIMM, BIIB-Pune, ITM-Mumbai, Jaipuria Institute and Alliance University.

I would suggest that you go with Birla Institute of Management, Noida since it has a very good reputation in the educational field. HR is a very good option in this campus. A majority of faculty members who are a part of BIMTECH are very experienced and have a good teaching methodology. This college provides a good industrial relationship for students. Placement package ranges from 5 LPA to 20 LPA. So, I suggest that you go with this campus.

First of all, KIAMS doesn't provide MBA instead it offers PGDM. Secondly, marketing and finance is the strength of KIAMS, but from this year, operations stream has also seen a boom from the academic point of view.
