Hello! The scores of exams like CAT, CMAT and CET will only be considered by DTE for the admission process of the various colleges in Maharashtra. As per the DTE notification, MAT, ATMA and XAT scores won't be accepted.

Hello,
No, there are way better colleges in India for pursuing MBA than SVMIT. Moreover, SVMIT ranks outside the top 50 BSchools, so definitely not a great choice.

Hello, Ashish,
The PGDBM/PGDM/PGP degree is offered by the B-Schools and is generally updated on a regular basis as per the latest corporate trends. Whereas, the MBA curriculum is designed and upgraded by a university. Both can be considered at par with each other if they are offered by elite B-Schools (e.g. SP Jain offers PGDM whereas NMIMS offers MBA).

As far as I know, no reputed B-school allows candidates having backlogs pending in their graduation. So, you need to clear all the backlogs in order to stand a chance of getting admission. Moreover, the academic session of almost all the B-schools has already started in June-July so you have to anyways wait till next year.

There is definitely a chance. If you perform well in CAT, you can get admission in IIMs. For this, you need to score above 97 percentile in CAT exam.

Dear Shalu,
May I know if you had work experience? Without it, chances are tight, however, alternate options are always available.
