IBS, Gurgaon isn't a great choice for pursuing MBA as it doesn't rank under the top 50 B-schools in India. Kindly visit the given link to know about its placements:

Yes, one can appear for an entrance exam in spite of having backlogs. However, those backlogs have to be cleared before taking admission in the particular B-school (in case you get final shortlisted). Generally, there is a deadline specified by a B-school for submitting the pending results and other documents.
