My friend has done my MBA in marketing from SIMS, I am not sure about the 7.75 LPA figure but I will be a little more modest here and say 6.5-7.5 LPA is the average package bracket. SIMS offers basically MBA specialization in 4 domains (Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations). One of these four will be your Majors. They also offer various minors subjects along with Majors (Minor Sub: Finance, Marketing, HR, IT, International Business, Operations, etc.).
For e.g.: I have my degree in Marketing Majors and Finance Minors. (My majors sub were Marketing and a few subjects from Finance)
SIMS has nearly 300 seats to offer. Marketing is the most

CAT really requires a very hard work, as well as all about your personality and how you present yourself. Both are good stream, MBA as well as CS. It depends upon your interest, find out your weakness and work on it accordingly, and it doesn't mean you are an average student. Many students with less than 70% marks crack CAT and CS.

If you have the confidence that your hard work and luck will take you to some place after 5 years, and if you have good hold over accountancy and mathematics, then go ahead with CA (also if you are ready to give up all and everything for it).
Otherwise, go ahead with MBA, but then you'll have to first do graduation, also you should have a good understanding of statistics and business Still you have a good scope in it as you may have after CA.
Try to know your strengths and weaknesses, and you'll be able to judge better.

Please note that the universities and university-affiliated colleges offer MBA programs, whereas standalone institutes and autonomous institutes can offer PGDM programs as per UGC guidelines. The degrees in IIMs are called Diplomas only for this reason. Your choice should be based on quality of institution and not on the type of the institution. There are good MBA offering institutes as well as good PGDM offering institutes. While selecting the program, focus on their All India Ranking in NIRF, type of faculty they possess, student reviews on social media, exact placement record and finally the fee structure. Check your all India rank

First of all, Becoming a CEO of a company is not a one day affair. It requires experience and that can be gained with time. Secondly, MBA course doesn't come with the guarantee that it will make you confident. That depends upon how much you deduce out of it. (Exactly like not everyone who pursues MBA becomes CEO).
Understand your interest area, realize your capability, know what you want from your job, and calculate how much dedication you can give to it.

You should definitely secure your admission in PGDM. The cut-offs for MMS is high. Also, if by any chance you get it in MMS, you can withdraw your deposited amount and secure your seat in MMS.
