The main difference between MBA and PGDM is that MBA is a degree and is offered by universities, whereas, PGDM is a post-graduate diploma offered by AICTE approved institutes.

For MBA in TSM: TANCET cleared students will be along with you in the courses, 2 months internship period, same hostel facilities and mess food.
But PGDM offers one step more than MMB course, so is the fee.
For PGDM in TSM: Workeds, Graduates from a variety of fields will be there for to give you a more sweeter exposure of the industry environment, Along with +2 extra industrial visits, + extra guest lectures and more quality staff(Staff from Northern parts of India, so you are compelled to converse in English to clarify doubts) to guide you in the course. 3 months internship program.
But ultimately choice is in your hands, an effective manager works efficiently in any situations. (A bad workman never blames his tools, he consistently sharpens his [Skills]).

IIM Ahmedabad has only recently launched their distance learning program in management in January 2017. The program was created in collaboration with Hughes Global Education and is carried out through 600+ classroom sessions.
The problem with this course is that you have to be a working professional with at least 3 years of working experience to qualify for this course. There are also several other criteria to fulfil in terms of age, aptitude, educational qualification, etc.
If you're planning to complete an MBA program through distance learning, I suggest you do it through reputable institutions in distance education. Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education is the first one that comes to mind. From what I have observed, this institute offers quality education and practical learning for its students.
Plus, the course fees are quite affordable compared to other renowned institutes that offer MBA programs through distance learning. And based on what I can tell, the university provides decent job assistance. Although there's no placement guarantee, they still set you up to have a good chance at bagging a good job.
But a regular MBA in IIM will fetch you job for 8 or 10 Lakhs. While a distance MBA is a little risky.
