Although MBA and Integrated MBA are management programs in Business Administration, both are poles apart. Master of Business Administration is a postgraduate degree program that deals with the study of the hypothesis and techniques involved in administering the business as a whole. However, Integrated MBA is a long-term course that is concerned with the overall study of business starting from the foundations in business to top notch duties of a manager within an organization. It can be defined to as the integration of Engineering or business programs along with the business administration subjects.
Integrated MBA course and career opportunities
The Integrated MBA course helps aspirants to know about the elementary principles and hypothesis of business, diverging trends in market scenario, managerial duties and principles and so on. Aspirants can take Business or Engineering Courses as optional courses while pursuing the Integrated MBA program. They must pursue the program from a recognized business school. Professionals can look out for jobs in public or private undertakings. A wide array of career opportunities is emerging day by day for these professionals. Their area of employment varies according to the specialization they have taken while pursuing the program.
Key differentiators between MBA and Integrated MBA course
Graduates in any streams can pursue the MBA program whereas intermediates can study the Integrated MBA program.
The duration of the MBA course is 2 2 years whereas the Integrated MBA program lasts for a period of 5 years.
While graduates have to study the MBA program as a separate course so as to become a postgraduate, intermediates can directly turn out to be postgraduate by pursuing the Integrated MBA program.

TFWS
This scheme is for economically backward students including women and also for handicapped students.
History of TFWS
This scheme was followed from April 2007 and it allows institutions like engineering, hospitality and pharmacy colleges to admit students under tuition fee waiver schemes in addition to the sanctioned number of students.
Eligibility
The waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the state level fee committee for self-financing institutions and by the government for the government and government-aided institutions. All other fee structures except tuition fee will have to be paid by the beneficiary.
Sons and daughters of people whose annual income is less than Rs.2.50 lakhs from all sources shall only be eligible for seats under this scheme.
Selection process
Under this scheme, up to 5% of sanctioned intake per course shall be available for these admissions. These seats shall be supernumerary in nature.
The competent authority to affect these admissions is the State Government or its designated authority.
In the event of non-availability of students in this category, the same shall not be given to any other category applications.
State Admission Authority shall invite applications under this category, make a separate merit list for this category and offer admissions on the basis of the merit list generated.
The institutions shall publish in their brochure and on the websites the details of this scheme.
The competent authority for admission shall submit a separate list of the students admitted under this category to the institute to which they are admitted for compliance.
A letter in this respect shall be issued by the competent authority for admission to each beneficiary student admitted under this scheme and he/she shall not be allowed to change institution/course under any circumstance.
The institutions shall also display the information regarding admitted candidates in their websites for information to the students and other stakeholders.
