India is best if you secure a government seat. MBBS abroad is a smarter choice than expensive private Indian colleges. It offers affordability and global exposure, provided you choose an NMC-approved university.

Students choose MBBS abroad primarily due to limited number of government seats in India. Also, fees of private medical colleges in India is expensive. Foreign universities offer quality education at affordable fee.

No, DM is not pursued immediately after completing the MBBS degree in India most of the times. Instead, DM is a postgraduate medical programme that follows the completion of both the MBBS and MD degrees.
To become a specialist in a particular medical field like Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, or Gastroenterology, candidates typically complete their MBBS, followed by an MD or MS, and then finally, a DM or MCh program. Each of these stages involves a lot of training and specialisation in their respective areas of Medicine.
