It is very, very difficult for you to get a government college with 55 marks, especially if you belong to the general category. Usually, cuoffs for government colleges ranges from 230 and above, aleast. Thus, very less chances for getting a government college.

For admission to first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of 03 Years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

For admission to the MCA programme at GITAM Institute, candidate must have passed in any degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and Mathematics/Statistics at +2 level or degree level or equivalent examination.
