MCA is a Master's degree in computer Application course (2 year duration) for those having B.Sc. Non M.Ed or BCA or B.Sc. IT or B.Sc. Computer Science qualification.

Dear Gagandeep,
It is not the same. For regular MCA their is Mid Term Exam and End Term Exam, but for distance MCA there is only End Term Exam. Also, the pattern for the exams is different. For more information, visit LPU camp office in your town.

Distance MCA (Lateral entry) is offered by International Institute of Management and Technology, Vadodara. There are over 17 Distance/Correspondence MCA colleges in Delhi Offering 20 Courses. See, you can not judge those degrees, even a BCA-MCA candidate could be more successful than B.Tech Candidate. So, it completely depends on your skills and the technical institute in which you studied. So, never judge those degrees. All the best for future.
