MCKV Institute of Engineering Eligibility

To be eligible for a B.E./B.Tech. programme at MCKV Institute of Engineering, a candidate must have a valid WBJEE/JEE (Main) score and have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Applications/Technical Vocational subjects. They need a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in the three subjects and have passed English with at least 30% marks. The qualifying board must be recognised by the Central or State Government. 

In order to be eligible for the MBA programme at MCKV Institute of Engineering, applicants must be a bachelor's degree holder in any discipline and have completed their undergraduate studies with a minimum cumulative score of 50%. Candidates also need to show up for national management entrance tests like the MAT, CMAT, or CAT. The ultimate decision is made based on the candidate's performance in these rounds, academic records, and any relevant work experience. Shortlisted candidates are then invited to a group discussion and personal interview.

For admission to BVoc at MCKVIE, the minimum eligibility criteria is to either pass Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board or After 10 Diploma of 3 years or After 10 ITI of minimum of 2 years. Admission to this course is merit-based. Students are selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying exam.
